My life on

To have your own planet isn´t just an ego thing. My personal theory is that life nowadays is so complex and complicated that we grow up and turn out to be very unique and individual beings shaped by our unique experiences, and that we watch the world through our very personal filters. We create our own planets where we are the only intelligent life. The only way to leave the isolation is to explore other planets.

This is what life looks like on my planet...

Hobbies: tough one. The line between what I enjoy to do and what I do for a living is a thin and blurry one. But if the definition of a hobby is something that you enjoy to do but will never ever get paid for, then graphic design, making webpages and tormenting the guitar fits that description for sure

Favorite Disney character: Goofy

The ultimate journey: another planet - until then: Cuba, and of course - death, but that´s no hurry...

Political: don´t like -isms, it corners you in a static paradigm. Politics is to pay close attention to what you really want - then pay the same attention to what's others want.

I care more about people than money, dislikes greed and prejudice, believes in justice and equality but not in erasing our individuality and turning us into gray clones.

Question what you think you know. Challenge traditons and conservatism. That´s the only way to progress.

Then of course there´s the problem with the state of the planet - mother earth hurts bad from our way of life and we need to make some changes fast - everything else is rearranging deckchairs at the Titanic...

Love is: to make each other grow as persons, a shoe that fits

Good sides : kind, diplomatic, nice, get things done, funny, easy to be with, clever, faithful, dedicated, anti-conservative, full of life, creative - at least that´s what I think...

Not too good sides: have a huge ego, have hard to decide, pretty lazy, avoids conflicts, works to hard now and then, not to responsible sometimes, morally flexible (I decide what´s right and what´s wrong), make up my own rules, don´t always pay attention to what others think, can be introvert and tough to communicate with sometimes (when I crawl into my cave)

Shares birthday with among others: Arthur Miller, Rita Hayworth, cheese-mogul Charles Kraft, Evel Knievel, Wyclef Jean, Norm Macdonald, Annelie Ryde, Beavis & Buttheads creator Mike Judge and Eminem...

Totem animal: The Turtle - believes that it represents slow pace and wisdom - two things that I can relate to. There is also something sad about them...

Favorite subject in school: Swedish

Clothes: a lot of black

Poem: for a writer I´m not very found of poetry. The only poem that have stuck in my mind through the years is an ancient aztecpoem that goes something like this:

This is not a poem
Just words
Like air
Like you

If I was king of the world for one day I would: turn all the worlds weapons into a satellitebased meteor defense, turn world economy upside-down in a Robin Hood kind of way, construct a longterm Marshallplan for saving the planet, tear down all borders and turn the world into one nation with common rights and responsibilitys, abuse my power for personal gain, get assassinated before lunch.

Motto: I only listen to what people say when they´re right

Death smiles at us all - all a man can do is smile back

Pets: not any more. Misses my snakes sometimes. Would like to have a turtle one day, or a huge, hairy spider

Grief of my life: being fully aware of the fact that the species of Homo Sapiens can´t make the right choice between fear and love and is slowly but very successfully destroying this planet without even being aware of it

That the pace of this civilization is constantly increasing and being more stressful by the day, when I enjoy taking it slow and stop to smell the flowers on the side of the road

That so many can draw a line between sex and love when I can´t

When I sometimes am being stupid and consider it "not to be enough!"

Way to die: would be fun to run in on a Jehovas Witness service with a bomb and shout: "Did you really believe in living forever - see you in hell!" before detonating, but I think I prefer to drink a bottle of 12-year old dark rum (Brugal) on the top of Mt. Everest and then fall asleep in the snow while thinking back on all the fun stuff that have happened in my life and the last thought being that I won´t have to get up in the morning

Favorite lyric: Marillion: Warm Wet Circles

On promenades where drunks propose to lonley arcade mannequins
Where ceremonies pause at the jewellers shop display
Feigning casual silence in strained romantic interludes
Till they commit themselves to the muted journey home
And the pool player rests on another cue
Last nights hero picking up his dues
A honeymoon gambled on a ricochet
She´s staring at the brochures at the holidays
Chalking up a name in your hometown
Standing all your mates to another round
Laughing at the world till the barman wipes away the warm wet circles

I saw teenage girls like gaudy moths, a classrooms shabby butterflies
Flirt in the glow of stranded telephone boxes
Planning white lace weddings from smeared hearts and token proclamations
Rolled from stolen lipsticks across the razored webs of glass
Sharing cigarettes with experience with her giggling jealous confidantes
She faithfully traces his name with quick bitten fingernails
Through the tears of condensation that´ll cry through the night
As the glancing headlights of the last bus kiss adolescence goodbye

In a warm wet circle
Like a mothers kiss on your first broken heart, a warm wet circle
Like a bullethole in Central park, a warm wet circle
And I´ll always surrender to the warm wet circles

She nervously undressed in the dancing beams of the fidra lighthouse
Giving it all away before it´s too late
She´ll let a lovers tongue move in a warm wet circle
Giving it all away and showing no shame
She´ll take a mothers kiss on her first on her first broken heart, a warm wet circle
She´ll realise that she play her part in a warm wet circle
